The Oasis Foundation is not just a think tank. We do not just develop opinion and recommendations for others to follow. Instead we have a passionate focus on making change happen. A big part of this is our commitment to campaigning and advocacy.

Youth radicalisation: Write to your MP
We believe that our new report on the factors that make young people vulnerable to radicalisation, extemism and gang-culture needs to be engaged with by MPs across the political spectrum. We would be grateful if you would consider writing to your MP to ask for their response to our policy recommendations.
Support Child Refugees
In October 2016, Oasis was asked by the Home Office to open an emergency safe house for young refugees that had crossed the channel from Calais. Since then we have had the privilege of engaging extensively with other refugee support charities and gained first hand insight into how government was responding to the crisis. In response to sometimes unhelpful media attitudes toward the refugee crisis, we launched the ‘Child Refugee Charter’ – an opportunity for people who support refugees to declare before Government their belief that compassion should be at the heart of our response to the crisis.
